Join us for a comprehensive two-day Public Works Seminar designed for professionals in the construction industry. This event is tailored to address the unique needs of contractors and awarding agencies, offering valuable insights, tools, and resources to ensure compliance, efficiency, and success in public works projects. Day 1: Contractors

Day 1 of this two-day event is designed for contractors, focusing on key topics essential to industry compliance and best practices. Attendees will receive Legal Updates from the Office of the Director Legal Unit, learn about Contractor Responsibilities, and gain insights into Skilled & Trained Workforce Requirements. The event will also cover Contractor Compliance Principles, real-world Contractor Experiences and Insights, Navigating Labor Code 230.1, and the Enforcement of Prevailing Wages, providing valuable insights and specialized expertise.

The event will also provide DLSE System Troubleshooting, where contractors can receive hands-on assistance with the Contractor Registration Renewal process.

We are pleased to welcome speakers representing: DIR, ACCO Engineered Systems, District Attorney's Office of Orange County, and City of Los Angeles Dept. of Public Works.

Day 2: Awarding agencies

Day 2 of this two-day event is designed for Awarding Agencies, focusing on key topics essential for staying informed and ensuring compliance on Public Works projects. Attendees will explore Awarding Body Responsibilities, receive Legislative Updates, and gain insights into Compliance Principles from representatives of both Legacy and Non-Legacy Labor Compliance Programs. The event will also cover the Enforcement of Prevailing Wages, offering expert guidance and practical applications.

Tickets & Accommodations

Tickets for this event are free of charge.

Complimentary parking: Attendees will receive a parking validation for the self-parking garage upon checking in at the registration booth.

Meals: Complimentary breakfast and lunch will be provided for your convenience. We strive to offer a variety of meal options; however, choices may be limited for those with special dietary requirements. We recommend planning accordingly, as the venue may not offer suitable options.

Attendees are not required to partake in these meals and are welcome to leave the venue to explore other dining options if they prefer. Please be sure to return in a timely manner to avoid missing any presentations.
